OUR PROGRAMS
Making a Difference

FOOD DISTRIBUTION
Feeding our community by providing free bags of food to those in need. Fresh fruit and vegetables, along with canned foods and starch staples help families bridge the gap between what their income can provide and what their families need.
#SOCKHOMELESSNESS
Did you know that socks are the most needed and least donated items in homeless shelters? At BCA Inc. we aim to help change that with our sock donation drives. We encourage the community and corporations to donate new socks of any size or style to help #sockhomelessness!
ANTI GUN VIOLENCE EFFORTS
Raising community awareness, having community meetings, and our Music Against Gun Violence at The Soundboard Community Open Mic contests are just some of the ways we strive to help the youth in our community channel their energy in a positive way to reduce gun violence in Philadelphia.

Our Volunteers at Work

T.I.E: TOGETHER IN EMPOWERMENT
Learning to T.I.E a tie is a rite of passage for many young men, but for some, the opportunity never presents itself due to the absence of male role models. This is why the Blackwell Culture Alliance Inc. decided to start a program, T.I.E. (Together In Empowerment), teaching kids ages 10-18 to tie a necktie in order to be able to properly present themselves when seeking employment or in other professional environments. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to this cause and how bring this program to your school, learning institution, or event.

COMMUNITY OUT REACH & CLEAN UP
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with challenges that plague our inner city neighborhoods. Community Outreach is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact. From community clean ups to weekly food distribution, contact us to learn more about our commitment to this cause.
